HearInAfrica outreach provides audiological services to adults over the age of 50. According to the World Health Organisation statistics, one in three adults over the age of 60 experience hearing loss, with 80% of people with hearing loss living in low-and middle-income countries. We aim to create accessibility for many pensioners who cannot afford private services as they depend on social grants to manage daily. Thus far, we have provided audiological services to adults from the age of 50 years up to 97 years old.
